Job Summary

AWS Professional Services is looking for a Senior SAP Consultant who wants to work at the intersection of enterprise transformation and cloud innovation. You will help Fortune 500 companies reimagine their SAP landscapes on AWS, not just lift and shift, but modernize, automate, and build for what comes next.

About the Team

The AWS SAP Professional Services team partners with the world's largest enterprises to migrate, modernize, and innovate on SAP workloads.

What You Will Do

Lead end-to-end SAP migration and modernization engagements on AWS, from discovery through go-live

Architect and deliver SAP RISE, S/4HANA, BW-to-BDC, and integration modernization solutions

Partner with customers to define migration strategy, cutover planning, and post-migration optimization

Engage directly with customer technical and business stakeholders at all levels

What We're Looking For

7+ years of hands-on SAP delivery experience across at least two of the following: Basis, ABAP, S/4HANA migration, BW/BDC, integration (PI/PO, BTP)

Proven experience leading complex SAP migrations in regulated or enterprise environments

Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and how SAP workloads run on cloud

Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving customer engagements

Experience working alongside or managing partner delivery teams

AWS certifications a plus; SAP certifications preferred

Key job responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP migration and modernization engagements on AWS from discovery through go-live

Architect SAP RISE, S/4HANA, BW-to-BDC, and integration modernization solutions for enterprise customers

Own cutover planning, execution, and hypercare for complex SAP landscapes

Drive AI-assisted delivery using Amazon Q, Kiro, and CodeWhisperer to compress migration timelines

Contribute reusable runbooks, playbooks, and delivery accelerators that scale across the global practice

Engage customer technical and executive stakeholders to define strategy and manage risk

Partner with AWS account teams, WWSO, and delivery partners to shape and win new business

Identify expansion opportunities within active engagements and contribute to pre-sales scoping

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
  • 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
  • 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • 7+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA experience
  • 6+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA experience
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or other related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
  • Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
  • Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
  • Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
