In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Understand Project / Work Scope, plan and deliver quality output / deliverables to meet the expected schedule and timeline
- Work on Customized Design and value engineering for cylinders, Actuators, Valves,
- Develop 3D solid models and assemblies.
- Complete the drawings along with tolerance study, GD&T, analysis of fits and clearances.
- Prepare engineering documentation including bill of material
- Support cost reduction and Rationalization Projects within Cylinder product line
- Ability to test the products in lab following safety practices and guidelines
- Contribute to EIC-Pune Assigned Initiatives
- Interact with other team members (global / locally) to meet and optimize product design requirements.
- Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required.
- Adherence to quality process. On time delivery & Quality of the deliverables
- Communicate and coordinate results with the team members
- Willingness to learn is critical
- Support various organizational initiatives like Innovation, Safety, Customer focus, processes etc.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum bachelor’s in mechanical engineering having relevant exposure in actuators, cylinders and valve domain with 8– 14 years
- Knowledge about various standards applicable to cylinder product line – NFPA, ISO, FDA etc
- Knowledge of elastomers used in cylinders
- Good knowledge about cylinder configurations – referencing catalog
- Software skills: Creo (Expert level), knows MS Office Software tools such Word, Excel & Power Point,
- Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink
- Knowledge of Strong modelling and drafting practices
- Working knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Study and International Standards.
- Basic Knowledge of Pneumatically operated Solenoid operated direction control Valves, Air preparation valves,
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, casting, Forging, Stamping and plastic molding would be desirable
- Aware of surface treatment processes like anodizing, Nickel plating etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team working player.
- Good Lateral Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
