Responsibilities & Key Deliverables-
Design and development of suspension and chassis systems for vehicle applications
Perform system-level design calculations and vehicle dynamics analysis
Execute detailed engineering calculations for fasteners and structural components
Conduct benchmarking activities and cascade system-level targets to subsystems
Prepare and manage DVP and DFMEA documentation
Collaborate with CAE teams for design optimization and correlation studies
Review and approve supplier and in-house engineering drawings
Ensure technical feasibility and manufacturing readiness in coordination with suppliers
Interface with material management teams for timely development and procurement of components
Define and execute rig testing plans to validate durability and performance targets
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of development and field issues
Drive cost and weight reduction initiatives through design optimization
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability
