SRE Engineer - Cloud Environment

Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive Site Reliability Engineer to join our Singapore team. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure locally while collaborating with our global engineering team to ensure high service availability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Management: Deliver and maintain cloud foundations (AWS/GCP) and container platforms (Kubernetes) to ensure business stability.
2. Reliability Engineering: Drive system uptime and performance, lead incident response (Tier 2), conduct root-cause analysis (RCA), and define/measure SLOs.
3. Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps practices and security policies, ensuring infrastructure complies with global standards and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
4. Automation & IaC: Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and scripting (Python/Go) to automate operations and improve deployment efficiency.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with global stakeholders to execute projects, maintain operational discipline, and provide on-call support for 24/7 service stability.
Qualifications
1. Cloud & Container Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and public cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) in a production environment.
2. Operational Proficiency: Deep understanding of Linux/Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS) and proven experience in system troubleshooting and performance tuning.
3. Automation & IaC: Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Shell) for task automation.
4. Observability & Incident Management: Skilled in monitoring stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and a strong commitment to blameless incident resolution and reliability engineering.
5. Professional Communication: Excellent English communication skills to collaborate with global/local teams, combined with a disciplined, ownership-driven mindset.
Note: This role is based on-site in Singapore and requires participation in an on-call rotation.
