About the Role
As the Allocation & Supply Specialist, you will serve as the functional lead for Supply Chain Management (SCM) allocation teams. You are the strategic "referee" responsible for executing and optimizing the allocation process when demand exceeds production capacity. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing, SCM, and Operations, you will balance customer priorities with financial margins to ensure business continuity and world-class service levels.
Strategic Allocation & Execution
Approach & Drive: Lead and refine the allocation strategy according to specific business and production requirements (Front-End/Back-End) when demand outpaces capacity.
Balanced Planning: Establish allocation plans that support key customers and product priorities, aiming to prevent customer "line downs" while maximizing financial results for the Business Group (BG).
Order Book Management: Ensure the meticulous execution of allocation plans, including order intake, rescheduling, and supply tracing.
Stakeholder Orchestration & Communication
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between Customer Service Centers (CSC), Regional Marketing, and Account Teams regarding supply status.
Risk Mitigation: Provide early warnings to the BG and Customer Service when the requirements of key or automotive customers cannot be fulfilled.
Conflict Resolution: Professionally manage major supply conflicts or event-driven allocations, such as severe under-supply or "Last Time Buy" (LTB) scenarios.
Reporting: Deliver clear status updates and progress reports on allocation alignment to all BG stakeholders.
Systems & Process Excellence
System Optimization: Review and adapt system parameters (Seller assignments, Safety Stock, CODP, etc.) during allocation phases and return settings to "normal" once constraints ease.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process and performance improvements to deliver "best-in-class" Allocation Management.
Standardization: Ensure common allocation processes, messaging, and approaches are maintained across the entire business.
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in the High-Tech industry, with a strong preference for candidates from a Supply Chain Management background.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
SCM Systems: Hands-on experience with SCM ERP systems (e.g., SAP, o9 Solutions) and reporting tools (e.g., Business Warehouse).
Languages: Full professional fluency in English.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
Leadership: A strong team player with the capability to make firm, fact-based decisions under pressure.
Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical with a focus on data-driven facts and entrepreneurial thinking.
Self-Driven: A process-oriented professional who takes initiative and drives results independently.
