We're looking for a Senior WordPress developer who combines deep platform expertise with hands-on AI integration experience. If you build smart, scalable web solutions and are excited about the intersection of WordPress and modern AI tools - this role is for you.
Position: Senior WordPress Developer

Contract: Full-time, remote, B2B
What You'll Do
- Architect and develop full-stack WordPress solutions, including WooCommerce and custom plugin development
- Integrate AI-powered features: chatbots, content automation, personalization engines, smart search, recommendation systems
- Translate design mockups into clean, responsive front-end code (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Optimize site performance, security and scalability
- Collaborate cross-functionally using Git and maintain clear technical documentation
What We're Looking For
Must-have:
- 5+ years of WordPress development (theme/plugin customization, REST API, WooCommerce)
- Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, MySQL
- Full-stack mindset - comfortable from database to UI
Strongly preferred:
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools (OpenAI API, LangChain, AI-driven UX features, or similar)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
- Experience with headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (React/Vue)
Nice to have:
- Magento / Adobe Commerce experience
- Webflow
