Your Opportunity
An opportunity exists in our Markham, Mississauga or Toronto offices for a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Water Resources Project Manager. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of stormwater management designs for projects ranging from commercial or residential infill developments to master stormwater drainage plans such Subwatershed Impact Studies with, as well as providing support in pursuing business development activities. You will be the prime contact on your projects with the client, approval agencies and others and you will use your technical and leadership abilities to lead a project team of designers and others.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Hands on experience with stormwater management modelling, ideally Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, and PCSWMM. Knowledge of SWMHYMO, InfoWorks, GAWSER, or other models considered an asset. Experience with software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD (Civil3D) is preferred. Requires proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Education and Experience
Minimum of 12 years of stormwater management engineering experience with a preference for 15+ years with land development engineering and/or linear infrastructure design experience.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
