We are looking for an experienced and talented SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) transformational leader. This role would be responsible for driving SAP S/4HANA EWM strategy, overseeing solution architecture, team building, and stakeholder alignment across global finance organizations. This role combines deep functional expertise with strong people-leadership, owning both successful program outcomes and the growth, engagement, and capability development of managers, consultants, and future leaders. This role serves as the primary functional authority for EWM, ensuring standardized, scalable warehouse processes across inbound, internal, and outbound operations.

The EWM Process Lead partners closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and IT teams to support SAP S/4HANA implementations, enhancements, and ongoing optimization, while ensuring alignment with global process standards and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the EWM portions of large‑scale SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and global rollouts, ensuring alignment with enterprise ERP strategy and supply chain transformation objectives.
• Act as the global process owner for SAP S/4HANA EWM, defining and maintaining standardized warehouse processes.
• Own EWM solution architecture and design, balancing standardization, scalability, and business value, including end‑to‑end inbound, internal, and outbound warehouse processes, including goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
• Provide functional leadership for SAP EWM configuration related to warehouse structure, storage types, activity areas, and handling units.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP EWM and MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM processes.
• Drive roadmap discussions, investment cases, and proposal or business‑case development.
• Support warehouse operations during stabilization, resolving complex EWM issues and root causes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.
• Build and scale high‑performing, diverse Warehouse and Transportation Management teams, ensuring the right mix of skills across functional, technical, and leadership capabilities.
• Provide regular coaching, feedback, and mentorship, developing future leaders and succession pipelines within the SAP Warehouse and Transportation organization.
• Set clear expectations, goals, and development plans for team members, aligned to enterprise ERP priorities and delivery standards.
• Serve as the primary SAP EWM and TM contact for warehouse, logistics, and operations leadership.
• Lead workshops, design reviews, and process alignment sessions with business stakeholders.
• Coordinate and oversee system integrators and SAP partners for EWM‑related workstreams.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or Information Systems or related field

Years and Type of Experience:

• 10+ years SAP Warehouse Management solutions, including SAP S/4HANA EWM.
• Proven experience leading SAP EWM workstreams across multiple implementation or rollout projects.
• Strong background in warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Understanding of SAP S/4Hana implementation and design of standard core solutions leveraging the use of standard application features.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:

• English - Advanced (C1)
• Able to communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM end‑to‑end processes.
• Strong understanding of warehouse execution concepts including handling units, RF transactions, FIORI and warehouse task management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into standardized SAP EWM processes.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to follow defined standards and processes in a global environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
