SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - INJECTION MOLDING

(Executive Manufacturing Leadership Role)

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior operating role with real authority over tooling, design, and injection molding operations. The position works closely with the executive team and plays a central role in how products are designed, built, launched, and supported on the plant floor.

This role is highly hands-on and customer facing, ideal for a leader who has spent time in tool rooms, understands mold design decisions, and wants direct ownership of outcomes rather than a purely strategic title. The position directly impacts speed to market, quality, and long-term operational performance across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own injection molding tooling and mold strategy from early customer engagement through launch and sustained production
• Lead design-for-manufacturability efforts and translate customer requirements into executable tooling solutions
• Serve as a senior technical partner to customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Align tooling, design, engineering, and manufacturing teams around execution and accountability
• Drive improvements in launch readiness, throughput, quality, and delivery performance
• Maintain a strong shop-floor presence with a hands-on leadership style
• Act as a senior operational leader supporting company-wide execution and growth initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

• Senior leadership experience overseeing injection molding, tooling, and mold design operations
• Deep understanding of injection mold design, tool build processes, and launch optimization
• Direct experience working with internal tool rooms and or external mold builders
• Strong customer-facing background with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
• Hands-on leadership style suited for a middle-market manufacturing environment
