A Senior UX Designer will assist in all aspects of lifecycle management of a product/service, leveraging design thinking and user research to translate ambiguous problems into clear, well-framed design opportunities You will make informed design decisions, articulating trade-offs between usability, feasibility, and business priorities while ensuring all solutions align with organizational style guidelines
Monitor all aspects of the product life cycle, including long- and short-term development, while staying apprised of design trends to maintain a competitive position
Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by identifying user patterns and friction points to improve the end-to-end user journey
Deliver defined features and functionality by translating insights into actionable design direction and creating high-fidelity prototypes and documentation
Research data and customer behavior by conducting UX research and user studies to get direct feedback on design solutions
Explore issues or needs by framing problems at the system level, identifying opportunities for reuse or simplification across the product ecosystem
Execute the development plan by partnering closely with product and engineering to influence execution and navigate competing priorities
Collect, analyze, and interpret insights to define the right research questions, knowing when qualitative insight outweighs metrics to uncover true user needs
Edit and maintain documentation for the UX/UI component library, broader style guides, and user guides for CMS solutions
Work within an established project management plan to self-govern priorities and deliverables while navigating constraints constructively
Review the backlog and reprioritize work by making sound design decisions even with incomplete or conflicting information
Provide advice and training by mentoring other designers, helping raise the overall quality of design, and guiding teams on CMS usage
Demonstrate the most valuable features through effective storytelling and design rationale to build alignment with stakeholders and outside teams
Develop own capabilities by contributing to and evolving design systems to ensure long-term scalability and business impact
Required:
Design Lifecycle Management: Manages all stages of design from transactional email triggers to native app journeys
Tool Proficiency: Expert-level experience with Figma and Content Management Systems (Adobe AEM preferred)
Systems Thinking: Frames problems at the system level and maintains UI component libraries and storybooks
Communication & Storytelling: Articulates trade-offs and design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners
Research Literacy: Ability to conduct research, define questions, and turn insights into action
Business Alignment: Understands how design supports business strategy and aligns decisions with long-term goals
