Supermicro Computer is seeking passionate and candidate to take on the responsibilities of Thermal Engineer. The position will be responsible for the thermal architecture, design, analysis, and validation of thermal technologies within networking server and data storage products. This role utilizes and champions a design process based on estimating, simulating, and testing the thermal performance of new products and architectures. The ideal candidate will have a strong fundamental background in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and the implementation of thermal solutions in enterprise electronics.
1.Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, or a related field.
2.Technical Skills and Knowledge:
•Thermal and Fluid Dynamics Expertise: Deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer
principles.
•Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD) for creating detailed designs and schematics.
•Simulation Tools: Experience with thermal analysis and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools for modeling and
optimizing cooling systems.
•Knowledge of materials used in liquid cooling systems, including their thermal properties and compatibility with
various coolants.
3.Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
•Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to liquid cooling systems.
•Data Analysis: Ability to analyze test data and simulation results to optimize system performance and identify areas
for improvement.
•Innovation: Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions and improvements in liquid cooling technology.
4.Project Management:
•Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
•Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks associated with liquid cooling system projects.
