🎯 Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own the enterprise testing strategy for SAP S/4HANA programs and related digital initiatives.

  • Lead Regression and Smoke Automation test cycles with clear entry/exit criteria, defect governance, and reporting cadences.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing QA team.

  • Guide functional teams on process standards related to SIT and UAT testing

Tricentis Ecosystem Ownership

  • Tricentis Tosca: Knowledge on both Desktop and cloud environments is required. Design and maintain modular, reusable test automation frameworks; lead model-based testing for SAP, web, and API layers.

  • Tricentis qTest: Administer test management, integrate with Jira and drive process-based OSD/test case mapping.

  • Tricentis Live Compare: Perform SAP change impact analysis to optimize regression scope and de-risk transports.

  • Tricentis OSV (One Shot Validation): Drive validation accelerators for SAP releases and patch cycles.

  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements across the Tricentis stack; stay current with roadmap updates and new modules.

SAP Testing Expertise (Mandatory)

  • Deep, hands-on testing experience across SAP S/4HANA core modules — SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, WM/EWM — and Fiori apps.

  • Strong understanding of SAP integrations CPI, IDoc, EDI, BAPI/RFC, OData APIs, and downstream systems (Salesforce, Snowflake, third-party WMS/TMS).

  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Signavio, or equivalent for process documentation and test alignment.

Process, Documentation & Audit Readiness

  • Ensure BRD-to-test-script traceability, and maintain audit-ready evidence.

  • Partner with auditors on test coverage responses (e.g., EDI vs SFDC), evidence mapping, and management attestations.

  • Drive continuous improvement aligned to industry standards, not legacy structures.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the single point of contact between IT, business functional teams.

  • Coordinate with EMEA, APAC, and Americas stakeholders to align on test scope, schedules, and sign-offs.

  • Communicate process changes, action items, and status updates through clear, business-friendly emails, Teams messages, and executive readouts.

Automation & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI/LLM-based testing accelerators (e.g., Azure OpenAI for test data generation, defect triage, or test case authoring).

  • Collaborate with RPA teams (UiPath, Power Automate) to extend automation beyond QA into business process automation where applicable.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years in software quality assurance, with 5+ years in a lead role

  • Mandatory hands-on SAP testing experience, including at least one full S/4HANA implementation or migration cycle.

  • Hands-on experience across the full Tricentis suite Tosca (on-premise, cloud), qTest, LiveCompare, OSV (must-have).

  • Strong background in audit/compliance-driven environments (SOX, ITGC, or equivalent regulatory frameworks).

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, WM/EWM) and integration patterns (CPI, IDoc, EDI, APIs).

  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Working knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and ETL/data validation

  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation utilities.

  • Exposure to AI/LLM-driven QA tooling is a strong plus.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication — able to translate technical concepts for executive and business audiences.

  • Strong team coordination and stakeholder management across geographies.

  • Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with a bias for traceability, governance, and data-driven decisions.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, pushing back constructively, and driving alignment to industry best practices.
