We are seeking a dynamic Senior Tender Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset to support pricing, tender management, and business development initiatives across our organization.

What you will do:

Tender Management & Coordination

  • Manage and coordinate tenders for US clients and global tenders involving the Rohlig network.
  • Support tenders originating from the US, other countries, and internal network opportunities.
  • Coordinate tender activities across regions, ensuring alignment with global strategy.
  • Control timelines, milestones, and submission quality for all assigned tenders.
  • Develop and implement winning tender strategies in cooperation with Sales and Product teams.

Pricing & Commercial Analysis

  • Prepare competitive pricing solutions across all products within the Rohlig portfolio, including:
  • Ocean Freight (FCL / LCL)
  • Air Freight (AFR)
  • Road Freight (FTL / LTL / Drayage)
  • Customs Brokerage and additional logistics services
  • Collect, validate, and analyze rates from carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate rates where required and ensure alignment with market conditions.
  • Review pricing for accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Procurement, and Operations teams globally.
  • Work with regional and country stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment.
  • Maintain strong communication across internal teams to ensure smooth tender execution.

Onboarding & Training Support

  • Support onboarding of new team members within the Tender / Pricing function.
  • Provide guidance and training to new hires on tender processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to team capability development.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to improve tender efficiency and quality.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of databases, templates, and digital tools for tender management.
  • Drive continuous improvement based on feedback and lessons learned from tender activities.

Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

  • Lead and facilitate internal tender calls and teleconferences across regions.
  • Act as a central point of contact for communication related to assigned tenders.
  • Coordinate communication between Sales, Product, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track and report on tender activity, performance, and success rates.
  • Maintain records of submitted tenders, pricing decisions, and outcomes.
  • Provide feedback and insights to management and stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
  • Analyze tender results to improve future competitiveness.

General Sales Support

  • Provide flexible support to Sales teams as required.
  • Participate in internal meetings and customer discussions when applicable.

Performance & KPI Management

  • Monitor and follow defined KPIs related to tender performance (e.g. win ratio, turnaround time, margin levels).
  • Ensure adherence to internal targets and deadlines.
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions to improve performance.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in Freight Forwarding, preferably in Tender Management and/or Pricing.
  • Strong knowledge of global logistics products (Ocean, Air, Road, Customs).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Good geographical and market knowledge.
  • Strong commercial mindset and customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution oriented.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a global environment.
