Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated, highly experienced Technical Program Manager to join our engineering organization and drive the development of a critical new module within our large-scale construction management product. This role sits at the intersection of Software & Data engineering and complex program delivery, directly shaping how technology transforms the planning, execution, and governance of construction operations across the enterprise.

You will own the end-to-end program strategy for our AI-powered data governance layer and application integration roadmap. The governance layer includes the Site Registration Service; a foundational component that establishes a single system of record for every physical site we operate, eliminating fragmentation across multiple source systems. You will partner closely with engineering leads, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define the technical roadmap, manage dependencies across distributed teams in Mexico and Austin, and ensure seamless integration with existing system capabilities that power facility planning, project tracking, and build execution worldwide. You will be the driving force behind delivering this at scale, aligning engineering efforts with business priorities and redefining how teams plan, coordinate, and make decisions.

Key job responsibilities

Own end-to-end program strategy and delivery for the data governance layer, including the Site Registration Service as its foundational location component, from roadmap definition through production launch at enterprise scale.

Drive the application integration roadmap: sequence system connections, define cut-over criteria, and manage rollback plans.

Coordinate across source system-owning teams and resolve conflicts when teams have competing priorities.

Define and deliver Gate milestones with measurable quality targets and drive remediation when targets are not met.

Manage dependencies across distributed engineering teams in Mexico and Austin, ensuring sprint velocity and unblocking engineers in real time.

Partner with principal engineers on architecture decisions (persistence models, API design) and represent program constraints in technical design reviews.

Drive the technical roadmap for the governance layer, aligning engineering efforts with business priorities across facility planning, project tracking, and build execution.

Own cross-functional stakeholder alignment: run recurring forums with system owners, surface blockers early, escalate when teams are not meeting commitments, and maintain delivery cadence without positional authority.

Identify and automate repeatable program management work, maximizing time spent on cross-org coordination and judgment-intensive decisions.

Deliver business reviews to senior leadership with clear status, risks, and decisions needed.
