Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supermicro Computer is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with data center life cycle management skills to drive a new cloud-based product offering. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and be able to manage customer relations, driving escalations to positive outcomes.

This role will also be responsible for promoting enterprise server management software, working closely with cross functional teams on gathering training requirements, and delivering them.

1. Collaborate with Sr Product Managers, validate reference architectures, provide technical product SME leadership.
2. Communicate with customers, technical questions/concerns.
3. Work with sales and Solution Architects to visit customers and understand technical requirements.
4. Collaborate with the development team to drive end-user stories
5. This position will require some travel; visiting customers on site to manage escalations when required.
6. Affectively manage their work schedules; multi-task against disparate project initiatives, driving successful completion of projects on time
7. Create a comprehensive training manual for cross functional teams and training individuals on Supermicro’s software management platforms.

Qualifications:

1. 1. Bachelor or master’s degree in CE/CS/EE or equivalent with at least 5+ years hands-on experience in data center/server related fields is preferred.
   2. Prior experience of at least 3 years in project management would be plus
   3. Some working knowledge of Redfish, Swordfish
   4. Affective communication to manage customer escalations
   5. Work with Sales and marketing to develop and maintain a customer / partner product promotion program
   6. Work across different HW, FW and SW departments/groups to identify and resolve technical issues
   7. Effectively support and grow relations with Enterprise customers utilizing technical presentations
   8. Some understanding of day 1 and day 2 Data Center operations
   9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must, able to communicate effectively with customers to promote, answer questions, and receive feedback
   10. Working knowledge of Container technology (Kubernetes/Docker), ELK, and Elastic search methodologies would be a strong asset
   11. Understanding of Angular, JSON and Java would be a plus
