About You Essential Experience and Skills • At least five years of consulting, project delivery, product enhancement or application support experience in SAP Finance or similar enterprise finance systems within a dynamic global organisation. • Hands-on experience in design, configuration, implementation and support of SAP S/4HANA Finance, with strong SAP FICO capability across relevant finance process areas. • Experience with Source-to-Pay technologies and processes, including Ariba, Vendor Invoice Management, OpenText, accounts payable and procurement finance integration points. • Experience with Order-to-Cash technologies and processes, including accounts receivable, credit management, cash collection, sales reconciliation, dunning, BlackLine and Fiori. • Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements, and to guide solution design through delivery and into operational support. • Strong understanding of finance process controls, governance, auditability and compliance within a global enterprise environment. • Experience managing business stakeholders and operating effectively across global, matrixed teams and time zones. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, assess trade-offs and prioritise workload based on business benefit, risk, control impact and roadmap priorities. • Knowledge of middleware, integration patterns and data flows required for seamless integration between SAP and surrounding finance, procurement, banking, reporting or SaaS platforms. • Ability to stay informed on relevant technological developments and assess their applicability to Dyson business problems and opportunities. • A proven ability to identify technology, functionality and methods that could deliver significant benefit to Dyson and to drive these through to successful implementation. Desirable Experience • SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICO or related certification. • Experience working with Finance Shared Services, regional finance teams and global process owners. • Experience with global finance transformation, process harmonisation, controls improvement or ERP modernisation programmes. • Understanding of local statutory, tax, audit or e-invoicing requirements and the challenges these create for global finance systems. • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Commercial, Legal, and external delivery partners. Key Competencies • Customer and end-user focus, with the ability to empathise with users and prioritise features that improve finance process outcomes and user experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to understand complex technical and business issues, propose practical options and make clear recommendations. • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with a flexible, pragmatic and delivery-focused approach. • Appetite to improve systems and processes to drive efficiency, automation, control, resilience and measurable business value. • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver through ambiguity, complexity and competing priorities. • Self-motivated, dynamic and results-driven, with the resilience to see complex and time-intensive initiatives through to execution. • Ability to quickly understand and put into practice complex ideas, processes and technology concepts. • Collaborative team player with a positive, will-do attitude and a disciplined approach to product ownership and delivery governance. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, options, risks and plans clearly to support business decisions. • Determined and assertive, prepared to get into the detail to understand complex processes and systems where required. • Sensitive to cultural differences across Dyson worldwide and comfortable working in a global environment. • Excellent attention to detail, particularly where systems design, financial controls, integration points and process governance are concerned.
