Job Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Analyst will focus on three connected priorities: sustaining stability after each market's EHR go-live, managing change across a fast-evolving multi-state platform, and turning operational data into reports leadership and program staff use.
Primary Responsibilities:
Post Go-Live Support
• Serve as a senior point of escalation for EHR/EMR issues surfaced after go-live — triaging, reproducing, and resolving data, workflow, and configuration problems across markets.
• Monitor adoption and stabilization metrics following each market launch; identify recurring issues and drive them to root-cause resolution rather than repeated workarounds.
• Partner with clinical and residential operations leaders to close gaps identified during rollout (e.g., incomplete data migration, incorrect workflow configuration, training gaps).
• Maintain and refine support documentation, known-issue logs, and troubleshooting runbooks so stabilization knowledge doesn't live only in one person's head.
Change Management
• Own the change management process for EHR and related systems: intake, impact assessment, testing coordination, communication, and rollout sequencing.
• Assess downstream effects of configuration changes, new modules, or vendor updates across an eight-state regulatory environment before they go live.
• Build and maintain a release/change calendar, coordinating with market leadership to minimize disruption to residential operations and billing.
• Draft end-user communications, quick-reference guides, and training refreshers to support adoption of changes.
Report Creation
• Design and build recurring and ad hoc reports (SQL-based) from the EHR and related data sources, translating operational and compliance questions into accurate queries.
• Partner with quality, clinical, and compliance teams to define reporting requirements tied to state-specific regulatory obligations.
• Validate report logic and data quality; maintain a library of documented, reusable reports rather than one-off spreadsheets.
• Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, decision-ready format.
Education and Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as a systems/business analyst supporting a clinical or human services platform, with direct experience in IDD, behavioral health (BH), or SMI service settings.
• Hands-on experience with at least one EHR/EMR platform (e.g., Core Solutions/CX360, Netsmart, Therap, or similar) in a support, configuration, or analyst capacity.
