Job Title: Sr. Systems Engineer
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Duration: Contract
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor, is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to support a new Restricted Ground Systems program in Scottsdale, AZ. This role will support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of mission-critical Ground Systems for government customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform systems requirements analysis, decomposition, and interface definition
• Support system integration, verification, validation, and technical planning activities
• Coordinate external interfaces and ICDs
• Support secure communications and multi-level security / cross-domain environments
• Participate in system modeling, simulation, and technical evaluations
• Identify and resolve complex system design and integration issues
• Work closely with engineering teams, program leadership, and external customers
• Support Agile development and systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience, OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
• Strong systems engineering and systems integration background
• Experience with Ground Systems, communications systems, or modem technologies
• Experience coordinating interfaces and ICDs
• Knowledge of multi-level security / cross-domain environments
• Agile experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• US Citizenship required due to government contract requirements
