The Sr. Supply Planner, Inventory – APAC is responsible for coordinating inventory planning and replenishment activities across the APAC region, with primary focus on India and Australia. The role ensures that inventory held across regional warehouses is positioned, replenished and utilized effectively to support project execution while maintaining healthy inventory levels and working-capital discipline.

Working within the policies, governance and planning standards established by Global Inventory Planning & Warehousing Operations, this position provides regional ownership of inventory planning execution, including replenishment reviews, warehouse inventory availability, project allocation support, stock balancing, inventory health and planning KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the APAC inventory planning and replenishment cadence, primarily supporting India and Australia.
  • Review inventory on hand, project demand, allocations, consumption, lead times and replenishment parameters.
  • Coordinate warehouse inventory availability and allocation priorities to support project execution.
  • Prepare and challenge replenishment proposals using inventory, demand, ITO, lead time and service-risk data.
  • Identify stock-balancing and inventory-utilization opportunities before triggering additional purchases.
  • Monitor inventory health, including stockouts, aging, slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain and review planning parameters including lead times, ROP, safety stock and replenishment triggers.
  • Track regional inventory KPIs and drive corrective actions through regular inventory reviews.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Delivery, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Sourcing, Finance and regional Supply Chain teams.
  • Ensure APAC execution follows the policies, governance and reporting standards established by Global Inventory Planning.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate manual inventory-planning activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, APICS, Engineering, Business, Operations or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Looking for 10+ years of experience.
  • With relevant of 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, materials planning, inventory planning or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, replenishment, project allocations, lead times, safety stock and inventory health.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP and advanced planning tools; Anaplan experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel and analytical capabilities; Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience in a global, project-driven, solar, EPC or renewable-energy environment is preferred.
