ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst plays a highly collaborative and visible role within a global, cross-functional team, providing supply chain expertise to support Operations in achieving service, financial, new product development, continuous improvement, and quality/compliance objectives. This role requires a broad understanding of business operations and organizational goals, with a strong focus on meeting both internal and external customer needs. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst ensures materials, schedules, and related resources are effectively planned and coordinated to support operational requirements. Through advanced analysis of supply chain data, the role identifies trends, develops actionable insights, and recommends improvements that enhance supply chain performance and efficiency. Working with a high degree of independence, this position applies professional concepts and analytical methodologies to solve complex problems, support strategic initiatives, and ensure activities are executed in accordance with company policies and departmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage responsibilities of moderate scope and complexity across one or more supply chain functions, including Planning, Inventory Management, Distribution, and Logistics. Analyze diverse operational challenges, applying sound judgment and data-driven insights to support effective decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Gather, maintain, and analyze demand and supply information for assigned product portfolios, leveraging best-in-class planning methodologies to develop accurate, executable demand and supply plans.
  • Support product lifecycle management by planning and executing supply chain strategies across new product launches, product transitions, and portfolio optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
  • Oversee inventory performance for assigned products, maintaining alignment with planned levels while proactively minimizing excess and obsolete exposure through disciplined monitoring and forecasting.
  • Deliver actionable data, analytics, and performance metrics to inform operational planning and strategic initiatives, translating insights into practical recommendations that drive measurable improvement.
  • Partner closely with Customer Service and Sales to optimize global finished goods inventory positioning and maintain high service levels that support customer and patient needs.
  • Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect continuity of supply and operational performance.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve supply chain performance, contributing to enhancements in quality, service, productivity, cost efficiency, inventory management, and cycle times.
  • Adapt quickly to changing market conditions, operational challenges, or customer requirements, maintaining flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset to meet evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to a culture of operational excellence by emphasizing strong compliance, continuous improvement, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable Quality and Documentation Systems and complete all required training in accordance with company standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Support procurement and supplier management activities as needed, partnering with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure reliable supply and strong operational performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, and a proactive approach to supporting team priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Travel Requirement: Minimal travel expected (10% or less), primarily to support cross-functional collaboration, operational alignment, and supply chain initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of four to five (4–5) years of relevant supply chain or operations experience; experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated industry is preferred. A Master’s degree may be considered in lieu of equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience should include several of the following areas: demand and supply planning, inventory management, distribution, procurement, and logistics, with the ability to navigate complex operational environments and support evolving business priorities.
  • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems to support planning, inventory control, and operational decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, or similar productivity tools, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of quality system requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy, and product quality.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, data management, and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate solutions that support shared objectives.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to connect detailed analysis to broader operational and strategic goals while identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments, building strong relationships and contributing to team success through transparency, accountability, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptable and curious problem solver who proactively seeks opportunities to improve processes, optimize performance, and support evolving business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideal candidates may also possess one or more of the following:
    • APICS certification or equivalent supply chain certification.
    • Experience working with ERP systems, with a strong preference for QAD.
    • Understanding of business contracts, including supply, service, and non-disclosure agreements.
    • Project management experience supporting cross-functional initiatives.
    • Working knowledge of cost accounting principles and their impact on supply chain and operational decision-making.

The compensation package includes:

  • Base salary of $90,000/yr-$105,000/yr
  • Discretionary bonus
