Drives continuous improvement programs, zero defect quality culture, and 6-sigma through QA Engineering department function, Product Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, and Internal/External Audits.
Maintains the established Quality Management System in concordance to ISO 9001:2015 requirements and based on customers’ document and data control.
Develops strategy to ensure company defined goals and objectives are met.
Implements a corrective/preventive action program which will prevent reoccurrences of quality defects in the manufacturing process.
Implements Continual Improvement Program using Statistical analysis, 8D and other tools by leading effective cross-functional teams to handle significant improvement projects.
Develops/improves supplier quality index, supplier improvement programs, utilizing statistical control programs, to assure that only qualified vendors are retained and updated on Approved Suppliers List.
Drive 6-Sigma, DMAIC, LEAN, Statistical tools, JMP, SPC, Control Plan, 5S and FMEA
Implements system to monitor the defects and failure rates and ensures that corrective action plans are initiated and monitored.
Coordinates, produces, and analyzes quality control reports and recommends resolutions.
Collaborates with purchasing, production planning, production, assembly, and engineering to resolve quality issues.
Accredits suppliers and other outsourcing partners to ensure compliance with quality and process standards, such as MSA and SPC.
Coordinates and implements quality-related activities. Work with other departments to ensure all expectations are clearly understood, agreed upon and met.
Manages strategic quality improvement projects.
Responsible in assuring that appropriate measures are in place which have a direct impact to the Health and Safety of the employees and protection of the environment
