Under the direction of the Director of Admissions, the Sr Student Services Coordinator for the Kornberg School of Dentistry is responsible for managing applicant and student records related to all operations of the Admissions office. This includes application and fee processing, tuition deposit monitoring, background check coordination, scholarship administration, and data entry and retrieval in Banner/ISIS. The Sr Student Services Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for admitted students (DMD, Advanced Standing, and Postbaccalaureate programs) for onboarding matters including financial aid guidance, housing, parking, health questionnaires, and insurance enrollment. Serves as a key liaison between the Dental School and university departments including the Financial Aid Office, Bursar's Office, and Academic Affairs. Performs other duties as assigned.Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and at least three years related admissions, student services or other related experience.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Required Skills and Abilities:

*Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

*Must be able to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and other external contacts.

*Must have great attention to detail and sound judgments with the ability to multitask, prioritize work and make independent decisions for complex issues.

*Excellent customer services skills with the demonstrated ability to calmly handle various complaints, problems, and questions.

*Proficiency in computer skills; Banner, Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and Google Products, MS Office etc.

*Knowledge of university settings and ISIS.Essential duties:

Applicant and Student Records Management

*Process all applications using WebAdmit/Liaison and internal university systems

*Process application fees and monitor the two-part tuition deposit system including deadline dates

*Register incoming students in Banner/ISIS

*Generate status letters for applicants

*Manage physical application records at the completion of each admission cycle

*Generate enrollment reports and admissions statistics for internal use and outside agenciesStudent Onboarding (DMD, Advanced Standing, and Postbac Programs)

*Serve as the primary point of contact for all admitted students (DMD, Advanced Standing, and Postbac) following deposit payment for matters related to financial aid, scholarships, background checks, and onboarding

*Coordinate and track background check processing for incoming students

*Facilitate student health insurance enrollment and collect health and immunization records

*Provide housing and parking information to incoming students

*Prepare and distribute all required onboarding materials including health questionnaires, tuition information, and financial aid packetsFinancial Aid and Scholarships

*Provide on-site financial aid counseling and facilitate communication with the Financial Aid Office

*Provide information on student loans and other available tuition assistance

*Process and distribute Kornberg Scholarships in coordination with the Scholarship Committee

*Respond to student inquiries regarding scholarships and financial mattersInterview and Event Support

*Coordinate interview logistics and applicant communications for DMD and Advanced Standing programs

*Support Visit Day logistics and applicant hosting

*Collaborate with Student Affairs on internal events including orientation, white coat ceremony, graduation, and othersLiaison and Communication

*Serve as key liaison between the Dental School and university departments including the *Financial Aid Office, Bursar's Office, and Academic Affairs

*Coordinate and compile statistics and materials received from the application service

*Provide weekly admission statistics for the Student Information System

*Assist in mailings to applicants, prospective applicants, and university pre-health advisorsOther Duties and Responsibilities

*Assist in mailings to applicants, prospective applicants, and university pre-health advisors

*Coordinate with Student Affairs to ensure all admitted student records and documentation are complete and properly maintained in university systems

*Provide coverage and support for other Admissions team members during absences or peak periods

*Assist with special projects as directed by the Director of Admissions

*Performs other duties as assigned
