This is a remote position.

We’re seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer who thrives in complex, highly regulated environments and enjoys solving challenging engineering problems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major nuclear and DOE-related projects where precision, safety, and technical excellence are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Perform advanced structural analysis and design for concrete and steel systems used in nuclear and DOE facility environments.
• 
  Conduct seismic evaluations, structural modeling, and load-path verification for critical structures and components.
• 
  Prepare calculation packages, design documentation, and technical reports to support regulatory and safety requirements.
• 
  Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with nuclear codes, standards, and project specifications.

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; MS and PE license strongly preferred.
• 
  7+ years of professional experience in structural engineering, ideally within nuclear, DOE, or similarly regulated industries.
• 
  Proficiency with structural analysis and seismic modeling.
• 
  Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design principles and relevant industry codes.
• 
  Previous experience performing seismic studies and dynamic structural evaluations.
• 
  Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, defensible engineering documentation.
• 
  PE License preferred
• 
  Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
