Job Description

About the Role

This operations role sits within Uber for Business - one of Uber’s fastest growing business units in terms of topline performance. Within this org, you'll join the founding team responsible for building and scaling Catering. Catering is an exciting strategic priority across both Uber for Business and the Delivery organization as a whole, changing the ways in which consumers and business customers use UberEats.

Working alongside the U4B Head of Catering, you'll play a central role in designing how Catering is sold and supported at scale. This will consist of defining and improving the end-to-end commercial motion, identifying opportunities across both existing and new U4B clients, and designing the processes, tools, and operating models that help our Sales organization grow Catering efficiently. Sitting at the intersection of Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Strategy and Operations, you'll help define how Catering scales from a small pilot product into a core part of Uber's business.

What You’ll Do

  • Sales Motion Design: Design, test, and continuously improve the end-to-end Catering sales motion, including prospecting, qualification, handoffs, onboarding, and post-sale support.
  • Growth Strategy: Develop top-down and bottom-up approaches to identify Catering opportunities across the U4B book of business, including strategies to penetrate existing accounts and land new business.
  • Commercial Experimentation: Design and evaluate sales sprints, incentives, lead-generation approaches, and other commercial experiments that improve conversion and accelerate growth.
  • Performance & Modeling: Build analyses and quantitative models that diagnose funnel performance, identify constraints, size opportunities, and inform recommendations on where to invest.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, BDRs, Operations, and Analytics teams to translate strategy into scalable field execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in sales strategy, revenue operations, strategy & operations, commercial transformation, sales, or a related field.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of B2B sales motions and customer needs, with the ability to translate commercial opportunities into practical operating models and processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative problem-solving skills with experience using data and modeling to evaluate performance, diagnose opportunities, and support business decisions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to challenge existing ways of working, develop new approaches from first principles, and translate strategy into scalable execution.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and translating strategy into clear guidance for the field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B Sales Strategy and/or Revenue Operations: Experience designing or transforming enterprise sales processes, operating models, or go-to-market motions.
  • Field Experience: Direct experience in a sales role, or demonstrated empathy for seller workflows and the practical realities of executing a commercial motion.
  • Experimentation: Experience designing, testing, and iterating on commercial programs rather than only optimizing established processes.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Comfort developing outside-the-box solutions in a greenfield environment where the right sales model has not yet been established.
  • Adaptability: Exceptional ability to prioritize competing workstreams, operate independently, and navigate ambiguity with a bias toward action.
