Job Description

GE Gas Power operates a globally distributed supply chain and is undergoing a significant transformation to improve on-time delivery, inventory optimization, and capacity utilization through integrated planning capabilities.
The Senior Staff Technical Product Manager will own the product vision, architecture alignment, and roadmap execution for Demand Management within the broader Integrated Planning ecosystem.
This is an enterprise architect role that combines product ownership, solution architecture influence, and execution accountability, working closely with Process Excellence, IT, and business stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Demand Management within Supply Chain Planning systems.
  • Act as the functional and technical authority on Supply Chain Planning modules, including Demand Management Cloud, Supply Planning Cloud, Global Order Promising (GOP) and Product Data Hub (PDH)
  • Lead solution design and configuration decisions to ensure optimal utilization of Demand and Supply Planning system capabilities.
  • Drive standardization and best practices in forecasting, demand sensing, and supply orchestration.
  • Drive proof of concept sessions demonstrating system capabilities towards optimizing existing business processes.
  • Mentor Demand Process Leaders and Demand Managers and influence process change as the Gas Power business adopts to an Integrated Planning processes.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning, S&OP, and Control Tower teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end planning solution.
  • Ensure alignment between demand plans and supply, allocation, and fulfillment strategies.
  • Partner with Process Excellence to embed standardized planning processes into system capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities towards an integrated solution that encompasses intelligence from multiple demand streams and application of AI towards generating a more accurate planning outcomes.
  • Support resolution of critical issues related to Planning applications and integrations that are impacting business continuity.
  • Work closely with software vendors to ensure patches are current, critical issues and enhancements are addressed on time.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in planning and integration tools and recommend their incorporation into the overall strategy.
  • Demonstrate strong technical leadership skills including solid communication and analytical skills with a thorough understanding of product development and successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with cyber & regulatory requirements.
  • Drive Lean adoption and process improvement in the operations and compliance/governance space.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • Extensive experience in managing Oracle Planning applications (Product Data Hub, Demand Management, Supply Planning, Global Order Promising).
  • APICS certification.
  • Experience in generating forecast by applying multiple forecast models and recommendations to support decision making.
  • Experience in conceptualizing solutions in the PaaS layer and integrating the same with standard business flows .
  • Experience with SaaS to SaaS/PaaS integration and middleware such as Dell Boomi, OCI, Talend etc.
  • Leadership program preferred.
