To strengthen our team at the Orlando location, we are looking for a Sr Staff Electrical EngineerAs a key member of MicroVision's Hardware Design Engineering team, you will collaborate with various technical teams in the company to design and take into production market defining Automotive LiDAR product.
In this role you wil l be a technical leader responsible for driving the full product development lifecycle of highly complex circuit boards and subsystems for automotive LiDAR systems. This role owns critical electrical architecture decisions, leads complex technical efforts across multiple programs, and sets best practices for hardware development, validation, and sustainment.
The Staff Electrical Engineer is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, provide deep technical mentorship, proactively identify and mitigate risk, and serve as a go-to expert for board-level electrical design and system integration. This position works closely with cross-functional and external partners to ensure delivery of robust, scalable, and production-ready hardware solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
MicroVision offers a flexible work schedule that could include a hybrid schedule of onsite and remote work, subject to team and business needs. Individual work schedules will be at the discretion of management and dependent on role and business needs. You must live and reside within commuting distance from MicroVision’s office in Orlando, FL.
