About our group:

Indirect Commodity Management is part of Seagate’s Global Supply Chain organization. We source the facilities systems, construction, site services and corporate services that keep our manufacturing and non-operations sites running and enable future growth. Our global team partners closely with Facilities, Engineering, Corporate Services team, such as, EHS, Legal, Finance, Sales & Marketing and site leadership across the Americas, EMEA and Asia. The work is highly visible, commercially significant and directly connected to business continuity, factory expansion and technology deployment. Why this U.S. role matters: Based at Seagate’s Normandale campus in Minnesota, this position will lead end-to-end sourcing for Facilities, Construction and Corporate Services across our U.S. sites, including Normandale, Shakopee, Longmont and Fremont. The role will also provide selected global support to Springtown, UK. You will influence a major portfolio of active facilities and construction investments, including complex fab and cleanroom expansion programs. Your sourcing decisions will be visible not only in financial results, but also in the buildings, infrastructure and manufacturing capacity delivered on the ground. Ready to build something tangible? About the role - you will:

Own U.S. category strategy and execution for Facilities, Construction and Corporate Services, from early project planning through contract award, delivery and handover. Lead the commercial strategy for major capital construction programs, including cost estimates, sourcing plans, competitive bids, supplier selection, award recommendations and construction administration. Run disciplined RFPs and supplier evaluations across facilities and corporate services such as maintenance, janitorial, food service, security, water treatment, energy, fitness, EHS, Finance and HR services. Negotiate contracts, statements of work, renewals and extensions that strengthen commercial value, payment terms, risk allocation, liability protection and service performance. Build and manage a rolling multi-year U.S. project pipeline with forecast values, savings targets, milestones and completion dates. Deliver measurable cost, cash, quality, schedule and risk outcomes without compromising operational continuity or project execution. Partner daily with U.S. Facilities, Engineering, EHS, Legal, Finance, site leadership, consultants and contractors to solve issues and keep critical programs moving. Develop strategic supplier frameworks that support future factory expansion, technology deployment and long-term capacity needs. Lead business reviews with critical service providers and drive performance, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. Use digital sourcing platforms, analytics and procurement technologies to improve visibility, compliance, efficiency and decision-making. Present sourcing strategies, recommendations, risks and results to senior site and functional leaders.

About you:

You take ownership and bring structure to ambiguity, moving projects from an early concept to a signed contract and successful handover. You communicate with credibility at every level, from presenting high-value sourcing strategies to senior leaders to resolving execution issues with site engineers and suppliers. You manage competing priorities across multiple U.S. sites and global time zones while maintaining focus on critical business outcomes. You negotiate for total value, balancing cost, time & schedule, quality, risk, sustainability and long-term supplier capability. You are resilient, practical and solutions-oriented, with the judgment to identify risk early, resolve issues and communicate transparently. You influence without authority and build productive partnerships across procurement, engineering, facilities, finance, legal and the supplier community. You embrace continuous improvement, data and digital technology to make sourcing faster, clearer and more effective.

Your experience includes:

Significant experience in indirect sourcing, commodity management or procurement, with direct responsibility for construction and facilities categories. A strong record of leading complex capital construction sourcing, including core and shell, MEP, interiors, general contractor and specialist trade packages. Proven RFP and bid-management capability across scope definition, supplier qualification, commercial and technical evaluation, negotiation and award justification. Strong contract and SOW negotiation experience, including collaboration with Legal on commercial terms, indemnities, liabilities and payment conditions. Experience operating across multiple sites, functions and time zones with senior stakeholders. Practical knowledge of project pipelines, forecasting, savings tracking, governance and executive reporting. You Might Also Have: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field and 12+ years of experience, or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field and 8+ years of experience, or PHD and 5+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience. Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or other industry-recognized credentials are an added advantage. Semiconductor, electronics, wafer fab, cleanroom or advanced manufacturing facilities experience. Experience sourcing corporate services such as payroll, food service, security, etc. or managed site services. Exposure to front-end equipment procurement or technical supplier evaluation. Experience supporting international sites, particularly in the UK or EMEA. The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,265.00 - $175,283.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
