Position Summary
This position is based in the Ahmedabad Region and designated as Industrial Spray Painter. The role is responsible for surface preparation, spray painting, finishing, ensuring compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
Work You’ll Do
• Surface preparation: Clean, sand, and mask components before painting.
• Spray painting operations: Apply primers, base coats, and finishes using spray guns and booths.
• Color matching & finish: Ensure uniform coverage, gloss, and Delta E compliance.
• Equipment handling: Operate spray guns, compressors, and painting booths safely.
• Preventive maintenance: Clean spray guns, replace nozzles, and maintain tools.
• Defect correction: Identify and fix runs, sags, shade mismatches, or overspray.
• Safety compliance: Follow PPE protocols, solvent handling, and ventilation standards.
• Documentation: Record paint usage, batch numbers, and inspection results.
• Team collaboration: Work with QC, assembly, and maintenance teams to meet production targets.
• Training support: Assist in mentoring junior painters and operators.

Basic Qualifications
• ITI / Diploma in Painting Technology / Mechanical / Surface Coating
• Knowledge of spray gun settings, paint mixing ratios, and booth operations
Work Experience
• 5–8 years in industrial spray painting, preferably in automotive, heavy machinery, or injection molding industries
