Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation & Market Benchmarking

  • Support the administration and maintenance of compensation structures, job levels, and salary ranges in alignment with GCS and global Total Rewards frameworks.
  • Perform market benchmarking and salary surveys for roles based in the Philippines, ensuring competitive positioning within shared services and professional services markets.
  • Liaise with external market research and benchmarking partners to participate in surveys, validate benchmark data, and interpret market trends.
  • Provide analytical support for annual compensation review activities, including data preparation, validation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist HR Business Partners by providing market data and insights to support compensation-related queries and role evaluations.

Benefits, Rewards & Recognition Support

  • Support the operational delivery of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accurate data, documentation, and process adherence.
  • Assist in reviewing the competitiveness of benefits offerings within the Philippine market and support periodic market comparison exercises.
  • Support group insurance administration activities, including GLI, GPA, and HMO enrollment, employee data changes, terminations, billing validation, coordination with providers, and related documentation.
  • Provide data and analytical support for Rewards & Recognition initiatives, as required.

HRIS, Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reward-related data within HRIS, compensation planning systems, and benchmarking tools.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports on compensation trends, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
  • Ensure integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate handling of employee compensation and benefits data in line with company policy and data privacy requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline rewards processes, reporting, and data management.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, and Global Rewards teams to support consistent and compliant Total Rewards delivery.
  • Ensure local rewards practices comply with Philippine labor regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Support audit and governance requirements by maintaining accurate records and documentation related to Total Rewards activities.

Role Scope & Level:

This role:

  • Is positioned at the Specialist level within the GCS People & Culture job architecture
  • Operates as an individual contributor, with no people management responsibilities
  • Focuses on execution, analysis, and operational excellence, rather than strategy ownership
  • Escalates complex policy, design, and decision-making matters to the Associate Director, People & Culture

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with specialization in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, or Rewards & Recognition.
  • Solid understanding of the Philippine Total Rewards landscape, particularly within Shared Services, BPO, or Professional Services organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience working with market research providers and benchmarking vendors.
  • Strong hands-on experience in benchmarking, salary survey participation, and market pricing activities.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS platforms, compensation planning tools, and benchmarking systems.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion.
  • Sound understanding of internal equity, market competitiveness, and pay governance principles.
  • Effective stakeholder communication skills within HR and cross-functional teams.
  • Well-organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple deliverables within defined timelines.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Compensation or HR-related certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
