We are now looking for an experienced Senior Specialist, Sourcing Indirect EMEA for our Operations Unit, Sourcing Sourcing is responsible for global strategic spend management, covering supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and relationship management. Sourcing drives cost competitiveness, service performance, and supply security, working closely with Procurement to ensure efficient and compliant purchasing execution.

The position is located in Kemira’s Business Service Center in Gdańsk.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting EMEA manufacturing sites and other Kemira business entities in managing indirect spending, including investigating potential vendors.
  • Qualifying both existing and potential suppliers to ensure compliance with Kemira’s standards.
  • Managing the Request for Quotations process to secure competitive offers.
  • Leading negotiations of contract conditions with suppliers.
  • Driving improvements in supplier performance, conducting supplier audits, and identifying value proposals or other improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of internal catalogues in the KEMStore system.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical/science field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Sourcing or Procurement, ideally in MRO and/or Site Services for multinational or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to identify critical issues and design effective data‑collection and analysis methods.
  • Supplier and stakeholder management expertise, including experience in negotiating complex commercial and legal agreements.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing environments, equipment contracting, contractor safety, and supplier management practices.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish would be an asset.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast‑changing environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to explain technical/manufacturing topics clearly.
  • High motivation to learn and improve, creativity in problem‑solving, reliability, openness, and alignment with the “Better Every Day” continuous‑improvement mindset.
  • Readiness to travel internationally.
  • Solid MS Office, SAP, and eSourcing tool knowledge.
