Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together. We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

As a Vulnerability Management and Security Controls Analyst, you will play a critical role in strengthening Schwab’s layered security strategy by helping identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate security risks across the enterprise. In this role, you will continuously evaluate and improve security monitoring capabilities, leveraging automation, analytics, and scalable processes to enhance visibility and reduce risk. You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts, technology teams, and business stakeholders to drive informed decision-making, improve security posture, and support effective risk management practices.

Success in this role requires a strong ability to analyze complex security challenges, identify opportunities for process optimization, and advocate for solutions that improve efficiency, coverage, and resiliency. You will evaluate security events and control effectiveness, provide actionable recommendations based on threat intelligence and risk insights, and help expand automation strategies that accelerate vulnerability management outcomes. Working across multiple security domains, you will influence security practices, support governance and compliance objectives, and contribute to enterprise-wide efforts that protect Schwab, its clients, and its business operations.
