This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Specialist, IT Tech Lead Planning based in Brazil.
This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity focused on enterprise supply chain planning and reporting applications. You will own key systems throughout their lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment, validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external technology partners. You will help ensure applications remain scalable, reliable, compliant, and aligned with evolving business needs. The position combines technical problem-solving with stakeholder management and system governance. You will work in an environment where quality, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation are important priorities. This is a fully remote opportunity open to applicants across Brazil.
Accountabilities:
- Own and manage supply chain planning and reporting applications, ensuring they are designed, maintained, and operated according to business requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, translating functional needs into scalable technical specifications and solution designs.
- Configure and support planning applications, particularly Kinaxis Rapid Response, while collaborating with IT teams on integrations, deployments, enhancements, and ongoing support.
- Lead system testing activities, including test scripts, UAT scenarios, validation plans, risk assessments, and change management processes.
- Maintain systems in a validated state throughout their lifecycle, ensuring appropriate documentation, controls, and compliance records are consistently maintained.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, defect tracking, issue triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution in partnership with internal teams and vendors.
- Act as a key liaison between IT, business process owners, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements while ensuring solutions support broader digital transformation objectives.
- Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation, including requirements, design specifications, validation plans, change controls, and system records.
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities related to enterprise applications and system validation.
- Contribute to project delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies and help coordinate activities across multiple teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building worksheets, dashboards, and alerts using Kinaxis Rapid Response.
- Strong knowledge of Kinaxis platform data-modeling concepts, including table structures, linkages, and configuration.
- Solid understanding of SQL and data integration concepts, including APIs, batch jobs, and ETL processes.
- Working knowledge of Java, .NET, and application scripting, with the ability to analyze application logic and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Experience with enterprise application support, configuration, deployment, integrations, web services, and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments, including application deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience developing and executing test scripts, UAT scenarios, validation plans, and system documentation.
- Experience working in regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly controlled environments, with knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) and GxP requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to investigate complex technical issues and identify practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a structured, compliance-focused environment.
- Kinaxis Author Level 1, Administrator Level 1, or Integration Level 1 certification is a plus.
- Experience with cloud technologies and basic project management methodologies is preferred.
