Job Description

Location – Jakarta, Indonesia

The Senior Specialist Group RA Religious Compliance is responsible for executing the approval of new raw materials and evaluating halal status of raw materials for TTH taste and P&B, including raw material validation during P12, RMI, AMPL processes and projects. This function will be reported to Senior Manager Group RA Religious Compliancewho is based in Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raw material Halal validator during P12, RMI, AMPL processes and projects for TTH Taste and P&B including region Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East Africa, North America, South America
  • Coordinate with purchasing compliance, procurement information in getting an update support documents for P12, RMI and AMPL processes from suppliers
  • Executing the approval request of new raw materials to halal certification bodies
  • Support Halal team in preparation of halal documentation for audit from various Halal certification bodies
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of halal assurance system, halal related processes, training and guidelines

You bring:

  • Bachelor degree in Food Science, Chemistry from an accredited university required.
  • A minimum of 3 years religious compliance experience within the flavour fragrance, food, beverage, or chemical industry.
  • Knowledge in flavour and fragrance raw material and its halal criticality
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Indonesia’s halal regulations, including those from BPJPH (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal), MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia), and Certified Halal Supervisor Training Certificate from Training Provider recognized by BPJPH
  • Skilled at working in a fast paced environment open to constant change in demands
  • Self-directed individual with a Can-Do attitude and the ability to work within a team
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP ERP systems and analytical skills (MS Excel)
