  • This job is a member of the Flight Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
  • Responsible for initiating, coordinating, and processing flight operations standardization projects/manual revisions in addition to special projects as assigned.

What you'll do

  • Supports safety risk management processes within flight operations as part of the principles of Safety Management System (SMS) described in FAA Advisory Circular 120-92 (as amended).
  • Complies with departmental safety objectives in support of company goals.
  • Manages the U.S. FAA operation specification revision process
  • Manages the China CAAC CCAR-129 operation specifications revision process
  • Assists International Regulatory Affairs with foreign country approvals
  • Manages regulatory documents
  • Completes FAA SAS ED and EP Data Collection Tools (DCT)
  • Manages Third Country Operator (TCO) regulatory documentation
  • Complies with corporate equal opportunity employment standards of conduct
  • Drafts and submit application for FAA approval of new scheduled destinations and existing airports
  • Participates in cross-departmental meetings to ensure requirements are met for fleet changes at airports
  • Maintains the Aeronautical Information Publications subscriptions
  • Maintains operation specification management procedures
  • Project manages the Airport Database website including the design and implementation of new business unit data
  • Monitors and reviews flight operations internal audit program results
  • Project manages the IOSA audit to complete IEP’s requirements and biennial audits
  • Disseminates technical information to flight crews regarding changes in regulatory requirements
  • Project manages iteration planning and quarterly releases
  • Adheres to flight operations operating and capital expense budgets.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Flight Operations experience
  • Experience with aviation safety standards and safe operating practices, 14 CFR Chapter I (Federal Aviation Regulations), and certificate holder's operations specifications
  • Experience with publishing software to include Adobe FrameMaker and Acrobat Pro

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Working knowledge or flight operations terminology, policy, and procedures
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure of changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management, employees, and external agencies/professional

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain strict confidentiality
