
The Sr Specialist will be part of a team guiding the development of a comprehensive, proactive, and risk-adjusted distribution load relief planning strategy through analytics. Responsibilities include supporting analysis of area station load curves, modeling impacts of flexible demand resources and customer programs such as demand response, managed charging, and battery storage, and developing tools to do so. The Sr Specialist will work on projects modeling future high renewables penetration scenarios and the role of batteries to support bulk system resource adequacy needs and their impact on distribution system capacity. Through this role, the Sr Specialist will inform business decisions through data-driven analytical work and will support implementation of new and existing grid planning processes in coordination with engineering, forecasting, and customer program teams across the Company. This is a great role to demonstrate your ability to drive results, demonstrate application of cross-disciplinary skills to the clean energy space and gain experience within Con Edisons Engineering and Planning organization.
