The professional is responsible to lead the design and development of reusable, secure, and scalable platform services that enable AI innovation across the enterprise. You’ll apply your systems thinking and deep software engineering expertise to accelerate the development and deployment of machine learning and AI capabilities at scale, from smart farming systems to enterprise automation.

You’ll be part of a high-impact team creating an internal developer platform purpose-built for computer vision, GenAI, machine learning workloads. Your work will empower data scientists and engineers to experiment faster, deploy more reliably, and deliver AI solutions that transform agriculture.

You will operate at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AI engineering, helping turn AI from a collection of projects into a repeatable, enterprise-grade capability.

Your Impact

  • Enable containerized training, distributed computing, experiment tracking, artifact management, and model deployment.
  • Support reliable, reproducible AI workflows across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Create reusable templates, pipelines, environments, and documentation that accelerate AI delivery.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and observability for production AI systems.
  • Partner with AI, data, security, and architecture teams to deliver platform capabilities, drive operational excellence, and shape the AI platform roadmap.

Your Experience & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 8+ years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering, including 3+ years supporting data or AI-intensive systems.
  • Strong experience designing and operating systems on GCP or AWS (GCP preferred).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript, with experience building reliable, production-grade services.
  • Deep understanding of containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar).
  • Experience designing secure, observable, and resilient distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with data and ML workflows (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, or similar).
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD, Git-based workflows, monitoring/logging, and operational best practices.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience building or operating an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) or platform-as-a-product.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model lifecycle management, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
  • Experience with hybrid or edge-to-cloud architectures.
  • Knowledge of IAM, policy-as-code, and enterprise security patterns.
  • Open-source contributions or cross-organizational technical leadership.
