Job Description

The Senior SOW Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end administrative and operational processes for managing Statements of Work (SOW) within the Vendor Management System (VMS). This senior-level role requires strategic oversight, advanced stakeholder engagement, and proactive problem-solving to ensure seamless onboarding, milestone tracking, and offboarding of resources while driving program excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Relationship Management
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to client managers and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and evolving needs.
    • Identify opportunities for service expansion and workforce solutions through regular engagement with hiring managers.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, positioning additional services where appropriate.
  • Program Governance & Compliance
    • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SOW processes, policies, and VMS functionality.
    • Validate SOW details including titles, rates, and assignment changes for accuracy and compliance.
    • Ensure timely approval and implementation of SOW changes, extensions, and assignment ends.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for contractors and suppliers.
    • Monitor time and expense submissions, resolving exceptions promptly.
    • Escalate sensitive issues and provide visibility to program challenges and opportunities.
  • Supplier Partnership
    • Cultivate strong, fair relationships with suppliers to ensure accurate data and timely fulfillment.
    • Partner with Program Manager/Director to deliver outstanding program support and continuous improvement.
  • Technology & Reporting
    • Maximize VMS capabilities to deliver cost-effective, high-quality results.
    • Develop and analyze reports on program performance, isolating and resolving issues proactively.
    • Provide training and guidance to managers and suppliers on VMS usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3–5 years of MSP experience (SOW expertise)
  • Proficiency with VMS platforms (Beeline preferred).
  • Background in procurement and tactical sourcing.
