Job Description

A Sr. Solutions Developer is a senior role in charge of designing, configuring, operating, and maintaining Pega Cloud Platform Applications.
They objectively analyze desired processes and outcomes and advise on the right solutions to achieve specific business, department, team, or functional goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the design, development, and configuration of complex solutions using the assigned platform ( Pega Customer Service OR Quadient Inspire). 40%

Own technical solution design by evaluating options, identifying risks, and recommending approaches aligned to business and architectural standards. 20%

Build, test, and review workflows, templates, or configurations to ensure scalability, performance, compliance, and reusability. 20%

Contribute to improving development practices, standards, templates, and documentation for the assigned platform. 10%

Provide technical guidance and informal mentoring to other developers within the team. 5%

Perform other duties, as assigned. 5%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY: Computer science or relevant field

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of work experience with developing workflows, writing macros/ VBA, writing SQL queries, designing templates

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

Pega Track (Preferred)

  • Advanced experience with Pega Customer Service or other Pega applications
  • Experience designing end‑to‑end workflows, service case hierarchies, and integrations
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or equivalent experience

Quadient Track (Preferred)

  • Advanced experience with Quadient Inspire
  • Experience designing complex, reusable templates and communication workflows
  • Strong knowledge of data mapping, conditional logic, and output formats
  • Advanced Quadient Designer/ Interactive certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Master's or Advanced FIELD OF STUDY: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of work experience in software development or similar IT role

CERTIFICATION(S): Pega Certified System Architect; Quadient Inspire Designer (advanced) and Interactive (advanced), Inspire Content Manager
