The Impact of a Sr. Solution Architect at Coupa:
A Sr. Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in delivering value-driven, scalable solutions for enterprise customers through the Coupa App Marketplace. In this role, you will bridge business needs with Coupa’s platform capabilities, ensuring seamless solution design, partner integration, and successful implementations. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Cloud Operations, Sales and Delivery teams, you will influence solution strategy and drive innovation across the ecosystem. This role is instrumental in accelerating digital transformation within the Business Spend Management space and enabling partners and customers to build integrated solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical leadership and expertise during the Coupa App Marketplace partner solution certification process
- Collaborate closely with external partners, Product Management, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Services teams
- Provide technical consulting to partners building scalable, repeatable, and portable solutions for the Coupa platform
- Support partner enablement, product feature alignment, and sales solutioning
- Ensure partner applications and connectors meet security, compliance, and industry standards
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Coupa’s platform and architecture
- Evaluate partner integrations and guide solution architecture for scalable enterprise deployments
- Provide thought leadership to strengthen Coupa’s position in the Business Spend Management ecosystem
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions related to Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows and integrations
What You Will Bring to Coupa
- 10+ years of experience working with enterprise integration technologies
- Hands-on Coupa integration experience is required
- Strong understanding of Coupa core platform capabilities from both user and administrative perspectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work independently
- Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams
- Experience testing APIs and writing scripts using tools such as Postman
- Experience working with and managing technology partner relationships
- Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies
