Turner Industries is looking for an experienced Sr. Software QA Analyst to join our team in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The primary objective of the Sr Software QA Analyst is to contribute to a development team in the production of valuable custom software products. Collaborating with users and team members, the Sr Software QA assist with requirements gathering, training documentation, testing software to confirm requirements have been met, as well as providing direction as needed to QA I & QAII analysts. The Analyst quickly and skillfully learns, understands, and supports the business of Turner Industries.
Contributes to a development team daily; performs a variety of tasks under minimal supervision and may be required to lead in testing or requirements gathering; understands, decomposes, and occasionally documents business processes as needed; creates application design documentation needed to build software; ensure functional requirements have been met by designing/developing/maintaining test cases; performs skillful exploratory testing of applications; documents application issues, providing steps to fix detected issues; contributes to user training and production implementation activities; compiles test data and defines desired results for testing software; provide training and direction to onboarding QA I analysts as needed; uses experience and judgement to support peers and advice management as needed; overseeing peer testing within the Custom Software Development Department; perform additional software testing assignments per supervisor's direction as needed
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
