Lead a competency group of Software Engineers

The Supply and Demand Technology department delivers solutions and technology that support the Supply Chain areas of the LEGO Group.
In this role, you will balance people leadership and technical awareness, ensuring the right skills are in place, growing talent.
An engineering background you're proud of - several years of hands-on software development, with a deep understanding of modern practices
A track record of taking initiative - you've seen something that needed doing and made it happen, without waiting to be asked
A strategic lens on team growth - you think about motivation, skills, team performance, and culture as much as you think about code
Curiosity about AI - you don't need to be an expert, but you're genuinely interested in how tools like GitHub Copilot (and Claude behind it) can change the way engineers work
Experience in cloud-native development - with architecture patterns and services that scale
Comfort in agile environments - and the ability to guide teams without a playbook
A team-first approach - you embrace diversity, build trust, and lead with humility
SAP experience - either on specific planning modules, hands configuration or ABAP development
Knowledge around Supply Chain from a digital context would be a bonus
Experience with modules around planning in SAP and knowledge in .NET development would also be beneficial
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
