We at Coforge are hiring Position (21531) with the following skill set.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 4–5 years of professional experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable and high-quality solutions using modern technologies.

This role requires hands-on experience with TypeScript, Python, Elixir, and AWS cloud services. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain reliable software applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
• Build and optimize distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards and processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor junior developers and support team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and backend development frameworks.
• Solid programming experience with Python.
• Experience developing applications using Elixir.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, or similar.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
