We at Coforge are hiring Position (21529) with the following skill set.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 4–5 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience and a solid background building scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.

This role requires hands-on experience with PHP, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, NestJS, React, AWS, Laravel, and WordPress. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, PHP, and Laravel.
• Customize and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure and deployment processes within AWS environments.
• Support performance optimization, scalability, and application security initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel development.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS and Next.js frameworks.
• Strong frontend development skills using React.
• Experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites and customizations.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, or similar.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Git and modern version control workflows.
• Understanding of responsive design, web performance, and frontend best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and performance optimization.
• Experience with headless CMS architectures.
