As the Sr. Software Engineer II (Technical Lead) for Byte Edge, you will own the technical direction and hands-on implementation of our edge computing platform that powers restaurant operations across thousands of locations. You will act as a senior individual contributor and technical leader, setting architectural direction while remaining deeply involved in building core systems.
Byte Edge enables quick-service restaurants to operate autonomously at the store level, sustaining 24+ hours of offline operation while processing thousands of daily orders with reliable synchronization to POS systems, kitchen displays, and management dashboards.
You will design and build distributed systems that run on in-store hardware, balancing performance, reliability, and operational simplicity in environments with intermittent or unreliable connectivity.

Salary Range: $131,100-$164,300 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
