We are looking forward to hire AspenTech Professionals in the following areas :

We are seeking an experienced AspenTech Functional Consultant with strong expertise in APEM (Aspen Plant Equipment Manager) and APRM (Aspen Production Record Manager) along with hands-on experience in system validation

The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of AspenTech solutions and will play a key role in Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, including updating and executing Operational Qualification (OQ), while supporting implementation, configuration, and optimization of asset performance and production record systems in process industries.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Work as a functional expert on AspenTech APEM and APRM modules
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Configure, implement, and support AspenTech solutions aligned to business needs
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth system integration and data flow
  • Provide functional guidance during design, testing, and deployment phases
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for asset reliability and production tracking
  • Prepare functional documentation, user manuals, and training materials
  • Provide end-user training and post-implementation support

Validation & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for APEM/APRM implementations
  • Review, update, and maintain OQ (Operational Qualification) documentation
  • Ensure traceability between URS/FRS, design specifications, and OQ test cases
  • Execute OQ test scripts, capture test evidence, and document results
  • Identify validation gaps and ensure remediation in line with validation standards
  • Support IQ/OQ/PQ lifecycle activities as needed
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • GxP / GMP requirements (if applicable)
    • Internal validation policies and procedures
  • Support audit readiness, including preparation of validation artifacts
  • Coordinate with QA/Validation teams for approvals and sign-offs

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Perform and support:
    • Functional testing
    • System Integration Testing (SIT)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Validate:
    • Equipment monitoring models (APEM)
    • KPI calculations, event tracking, and loss accounting (APRM)
    • Data flow from historians (PI/IP.21) and external systems
  • Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and support resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in AspenTech solutions
  • Strong functional expertise in:
    • Aspen Plant Equipment Manager ( APEM)
    • Aspen Production Record Manager ( APRM)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Asset Performance Management (APM)
    • Production data and event management workflows
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Validation lifecycle (CSV, IQ, OQ, PQ)
    • OQ script creation, execution, and documentation
  • Good understanding of process industry operations (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Experience in requirement gathering and translating business needs into system solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in GxP / regulated environments (Pharma, Life Sciences preferred)
  • Exposure to:
    • 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
    • Audit and regulatory inspections
  • Experience with other AspenTech modules or digital solutions
  • Exposure to system integration ( ERP/MES/SCADA/Historians)
  • Basic understanding of data models, reporting, and analytics
  • Prior experience in validation-centric implementation projects

Soft Skills

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment
  • High attention to detail (especially for documentation and validation evidence)
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
