Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Sr Software Engineer supports QVC, and and builds the core customer platform capabilities that power secure, connected experiences across web, mobile, streaming, and social commerce.

You'll help shape the technology behind how customers sign in, manage their identity and profile, access their account, and move through checkout. You'll work across a modern full-stack environment, leading technical design and hands-on development for foundational customer capabilities used across multiple markets, including the US, UK, Germany, and Italy.

You'll join the Digital Customer Domain team, where engineering plays a direct role in platform quality, scalability, and reliability. This is a strong fit for a senior engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working across the stack, and influencing technical decisions through expertise, collaboration, and delivery.

Where You'll Work

This role is remote; job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, DE. This role may require you to be on site at our Pennsylvania location as needed. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, and support services and applications across QVC's Digital Customer Domain
  • Develop scalable back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
  • Contribute to front-end development using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Design and implement authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2 and identity platforms such as ForgeRock or Ping Identity
  • Build and support cloud-native solutions using Azure, Kubernetes, Azure API Management, and NGINX
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL data stores to support reliable applications
  • Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and Git-based source control
  • Partner with product, architecture, security, and platform teams to deliver reliable customer experiences across multiple geographies
  • Mentor other engineers and share technical guidance across onshore and offshore teams

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including experience as a senior engineer or technical lead on customer-facing applications
  • Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus
  • Experience designing and implementing authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2 and identity platforms such as ForgeRock or Ping Identity
  • Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and customer-facing digital applications
  • Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Azure API Management, and NGINX
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL data stores
  • Experience using CI/CD pipelines and Git-based source control tools such as GitHub or Stash
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
