Essential Job Functions

• Serve as a technical authority across CWW, influencing architecture and engineering standards beyond the immediate team.
• Lead the design and delivery of highly interactive, greenfield logistics applications using cutting-edge technologies.
• Own and evolve the application architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise-wide goals.
• Define and champion development standards, best practices, and patterns across cross-functional and cross-divisional engineering efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across divisions to drive consistency in integration patterns, system design, and solution delivery.
• Partner closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to shape and prioritize the product roadmap from a technical perspective.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and architectural review sessions — serving as a key voice in technical decision-making.
• Write and review unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests; promote a Test Driven Development culture across teams. Implement new features and resolve defects across the full stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, C#, F#, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Identify and mitigate technical risk across projects through proactive architecture reviews and cross-team collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned

Other Skills & Abilities

• Deep expertise in web UI development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular/React
• Strong proficiency in ASP.NET MVC and C# / F#
• Microsoft SQL Server — data modeling, query optimization, and integration
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture discussions and drive technical decisions across teams • Strong knowledge of source code management, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experienced with Agile methodologies and iterative development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Test Driven Development (TDD) mindset

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of application development experience
• Demonstrated track record of cross-team technical influence and architecture ownership

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
