About the Role

At OSI Maritime Systems, you will lead the technical execution of software feature teams delivering mission-critical navigation and tactical solutions. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, team development, and delivery accountability, ensuring high-quality software is delivered reliably from concept through release.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end software development (requirements, design, implementation, testing, release)
• Provide technical direction and prioritization to developers, testers, and Technical Team Leads
• Deliver high-quality software with predictable timelines and strong engineering discipline
• Ensure designs meet architectural standards and quality expectations
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early to protect delivery
• Partner with Software Project Managers and cross-functional teams to align on scope and priorities
• Drive improvements in testing, automation, and development practices
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment

What You Bring

• 7+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
• Experience with Windows-based application development
• Solid understanding of software design, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to deliver complex, high-quality software on schedule
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
