Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 5–8 years of professional experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software applications using modern web technologies.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product management, UX, and other cross-functional teams.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while adapting to changing business needs and technology landscapes.
## Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available full-stack applications that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
* Collaborate closely with Product Management, User Experience, Architecture, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
* Develop cloud-native services and modern web applications following engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles.
* Build and enhance RESTful and GraphQL APIs that support customer-facing and internal platform capabilities.
* Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and reusable component-based architectures.
* Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software.
* Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and engineering automation.
* Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions that improve system reliability and performance.
* Create and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing, operational readiness, and long-term maintainability.
* Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and engineering practices, contributing ideas that improve product quality, developer productivity, and customer value.
* Work effectively within Agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
## Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 6+ years of professional software development experience building enterprise-grade web applications.
* Strong programming experience in one or more backend languages such as **Java, Python, or Node.js**.
* Hands-on experience developing microservices using frameworks such as **Spring Boot, Flask, Django, or Express.js**.
* Strong front-end development skills using **HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript**, and modern frameworks such as **React, Angular, or Vue.js**.
* Experience designing, developing, and consuming **RESTful** and **GraphQL** APIs.
* Experience building applications on public cloud platforms such as **AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**.
* Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
* Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases such as **PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB**, or similar technologies.
* Experience with source control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and modern software development practices.
* Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI technologies, with an interest in leveraging AI capabilities to enhance products and engineering productivity.
* Experience working in Agile development environments with a strong focus on collaboration, quality, and continuous delivery.
* Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex features while collaborating effectively with peers and contributing to team success.
