What will you be doing?
Barclays Services Corp. seeks Sr Software Developer, AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
Develop and maintain pre-trade functionality across the Securitized Products asset class with focus on the real-time pricing and automated quoting system for To Be Announced (TBA) Mortgage-Backed Securities.
Utilize C#, WPF (MVVM), WCF, Oracle (both database design and implementation), Solace, Python, and Tableau.
Contribute to all areas of system development, including client, server, and database, depending on business requirements.
Analyze large existing application frameworks written in C# and Java and utilize them for new development tasks.
Extend the WPF pricing application with new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.
Develop new server-side Windows Services and WPF services.
Implement new reports using Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools.
Create Python scripts and ETL processes for data analysis.
Design relational database schema and implementation with Oracle.
Oversee hardware and software migrations to new platform.
May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]
Minimum Salary: $220,000 per year
Maximum Salary: $230,000 per year
